Los nuevos miembros de Stand for Her Land contribuyen a reforzar los esfuerzos de defensa de los datos y a mejorar la comprensi\u00f3n de las repercusiones de la igualdad de g\u00e9nero en los derechos sobre la tierra.<\/em><\/p>\n

Stand for Her Land (S4HL) se complace en anunciar que la Global Land Alliance (GLA) y Prindex se han unido a la campa\u00f1a S4HL, sum\u00e1ndose al creciente movimiento para cerrar la brecha entre la pol\u00edtica y la pr\u00e1ctica y ayudar a millones de mujeres a hacer realidad los derechos sobre la tierra en su vida cotidiana.<\/p>\n

Prindex, el \u00cdndice Global de Derechos de Propiedad de la GLA, es un esfuerzo de colaboraci\u00f3n pionero para medir la percepci\u00f3n que tienen las personas de sus derechos sobre la tierra y la propiedad. Desde su lanzamiento en 2016, Prindex ha ampliado su base de datos mundial para incluir mediciones de 141 pa\u00edses, abarcando el 95% de la poblaci\u00f3n e incluyendo a grupos a menudo excluidos, lo que lo convierte, con diferencia, en la recopilaci\u00f3n de datos m\u00e1s completa e inclusiva sobre la percepci\u00f3n de la seguridad de la tenencia.<\/p>\n

\"Un reto clave para los esfuerzos para garantizar los derechos de las mujeres a la tierra es la falta de datos exhaustivos sobre la seguridad de la tenencia de las mujeres\", dijo Esther Mwaura-Muiru, Directora de Promoci\u00f3n Global de S4HL. \"Global Land Alliance y Prindex mejorar\u00e1n nuestra comprensi\u00f3n de los impactos de los derechos seguros de las mujeres a la tierra y para ayudar a que las mujeres cuenten\".<\/p>\n

GLA y Prindex se unen a una coalici\u00f3n multilateral de organizaciones e instituciones que componen el Comit\u00e9 Directivo de S4HL, en el que la organizaci\u00f3n internacional de derechos sobre la tierra Landesa act\u00faa como secretar\u00eda de la campa\u00f1a. Otros miembros son la Red Global de Herramientas del Suelo, H\u00e1bitat para la Humanidad, la Comisi\u00f3n Huairou, la Coalici\u00f3n Internacional del Suelo, la Iniciativa de Derechos y Recursos y el Banco Mundial.<\/p>\n

Lanzada formalmente en 2022 tras los esfuerzos exploratorios iniciados en 2019, S4HL trabaja para fortalecer los derechos de las mujeres a la tierra desde el \u00e1mbito global hasta el de base. A nivel mundial, la campa\u00f1a aboga por los derechos de las mujeres a la tierra en las agendas y los marcos de desarrollo sostenible a nivel internacional y regional, incluidas las convenciones de la ONU, la Uni\u00f3n Africana y otros creadores de agendas. A escala nacional y local, las coaliciones nacionales de S4HL en Bangladesh, Colombia, Etiop\u00eda, Senegal, Tanzania y Uganda aprovechan los conocimientos y la experiencia locales para contribuir a la defensa de leyes y pol\u00edticas, a su aplicaci\u00f3n y a los esfuerzos de concienciaci\u00f3n que, en conjunto, tienen el potencial de ayudar a millones de mujeres a hacer realidad sus derechos a la tierra en su vida cotidiana.<\/p>\n
