Si queremos alimentar a la poblaci\u00f3n mundial prevista de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/en\/desa\/world-population-projected-reach-98-billion-2050-and-112-billion-2100\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">9.700 millones en 2050<\/a>Los derechos de las mujeres a la tierra y la neutralidad en la degradaci\u00f3n de la tierra deben formar parte de la conversaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de ser las m\u00e1s afectadas por la degradaci\u00f3n de la tierra, las mujeres son tambi\u00e9n algunas de las mejor preparadas para responder a ella y suelen estar m\u00e1s dispuestas a adoptar nuevas pr\u00e1cticas para proteger y restaurar la tierra. Es esencial dar prioridad a las defensoras de base en estas conversaciones, porque son las m\u00e1s afectadas por la degradaci\u00f3n de la tierra y tienen un conocimiento \u00edntimo de su impacto sobre el terreno. La participaci\u00f3n de las mujeres de base en los actos de la COP eleva su compromiso a todos los niveles de los procesos de toma de decisiones y aplicaci\u00f3n de la CNULD, aumentando su capacidad de trabajar con los responsables de la toma de decisiones para desarrollar una aplicaci\u00f3n de la tenencia de la tierra mejor y m\u00e1s equitativa desde el punto de vista del g\u00e9nero.<\/p>\n<p>La seguridad de los derechos sobre la tierra es esencial para abordar la actual crisis de degradaci\u00f3n de la tierra y desertificaci\u00f3n.
