Una semana de aprendizaje sobre la gobernanza de la tierra. Un programa de radio de investigaci\u00f3n sobre la protecci\u00f3n de los derechos humanos.<\/p>\n<p>En Uganda, las iniciativas de desarrollo que persiguen un programa com\u00fan para abordar la desigualdad de g\u00e9nero y el desarrollo sostenible han encontrado un tema unificador: el derecho de las mujeres a la tierra. La coalici\u00f3n Stand for Her Land (S4HL) Uganda -parte de\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/stand4herland.org\/\">S4HL<\/a>la campa\u00f1a mundial por el derecho de las mujeres a la tierra, re\u00fane a organizaciones de la sociedad civil, agentes gubernamentales y otros actores clave en un movimiento colectivo para hacer realidad los derechos fundamentales de las mujeres a la tierra, la propiedad, la vivienda y los recursos naturales.<\/p>\n<p>La coalici\u00f3n S4HL Uganda se puso en marcha en 2022. En la actualidad, esta organizaci\u00f3n sin \u00e1nimo de lucro que apoya a los peque\u00f1os agricultores est\u00e1 desarrollando una estrategia sobre los derechos de las mujeres a la tierra. La semana de aprendizaje sobre gobernanza de la tierra que organiza anualmente el gobierno incluye ahora a mujeres de base como componentes y l\u00edderes clave, y la plataforma radiof\u00f3nica de investigaci\u00f3n ha empezado a sacar a la luz la dif\u00edcil situaci\u00f3n de las defensoras de los derechos de las mujeres sobre la tierra.<\/p>\n<p>A trav\u00e9s de la estructura de coalici\u00f3n de S4HL Uganda, los miembros elaboran estrategias y act\u00faan juntos para crear voluntad pol\u00edtica en favor de los derechos de las mujeres a la tierra a nivel de base, nacional y mundial. Conectar a las organizaciones y l\u00edderes locales permite crear un movimiento exponencialmente m\u00e1s poderoso que el de los miembros que act\u00faan solos. Los miembros aprenden de los \u00e9xitos de los dem\u00e1s, elevan mutuamente sus mensajes y abogan conjuntamente por el cambio. Coordinar esta poderosa red de 85 ONG y organizaciones comunitarias es\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ucobac.org\/\">Asociaci\u00f3n Comunitaria para el Bienestar de Mujeres y Ni\u00f1os de Uganda<\/a>\u00a0(UCOBAC), una organizaci\u00f3n con sede en Kampala y m\u00e1s de 30 a\u00f1os de experiencia en organizaci\u00f3n y defensa comunitarias.<\/p>\n<p>Las organizaciones de base como las de la Coalici\u00f3n S4HL Uganda son m\u00e1s vitales que nunca. Los retos geogr\u00e1ficos espec\u00edficos requieren personas que conozcan el contexto. Obst\u00e1culos complicados e implacables, como normas sociales muy arraigadas y pr\u00e1cticas y comportamientos patriarcales persistentes, exigen soluciones creativas desde la base. Sabemos que garantizar los derechos de las mujeres a la tierra puede tener efectos en cadena para\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1080\/00220381003600366\">reducir la pobreza<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.landesa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/LAN008_SecureLandRights_infographic.pdf\">inseguridad alimentaria<\/a>y\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1080\/14649880701462171\">violencia dom\u00e9stica<\/a>y es fundamental para\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.landesa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Land-Empowers-Life-cycle-approach-to-girls-womens-land-rights.pdf\">alcanzar la igualdad de g\u00e9nero<\/a>\u00a0y el desarrollo sostenible. Tenemos pruebas de que los esfuerzos para proteger la biodiversidad y hacer frente al cambio clim\u00e1tico son\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.landesa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/LCWLR_WomenGainingGround.pdf\">m\u00e1s \u00e9xito<\/a>\u00a0cuando las mujeres tienen fuertes derechos sobre la tierra. cuando las mujeres tienen fuertes derechos sobre la tierra.<\/p>\n<p>Lo que nos falta es un enfoque colectivo, con cambios audaces relacionados con el poder y la dotaci\u00f3n de recursos que sit\u00faen a las mujeres de base en el centro del desarrollo transformador. A trav\u00e9s de S4HL,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.landesa.org\/\">Landesa<\/a>\u00a0y otros miembros del Comit\u00e9 Directivo Mundial ofrecen algo m\u00e1s que recursos financieros vinculados a los proyectos.<\/p>\n<p>La clave del modelo S4HL es la facilitaci\u00f3n de cada red de la Coalici\u00f3n, adem\u00e1s de la facilitaci\u00f3n global. Las voces de las comunidades de base -especialmente las de las mujeres- han estado ausentes de los espacios mundiales de promoci\u00f3n durante demasiado tiempo. Recientemente, Landesa y sus socios facilitaron la participaci\u00f3n de mujeres de base de diferentes Coaliciones S4HL en conversaciones de alto nivel en la COP16 de la Convenci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas de Lucha contra la Desertificaci\u00f3n (CNULD).<\/p>\n<p>Las organizaciones miembros de S4HL se benefician de la capacidad t\u00e9cnica de Landesa en materia de gobernanza de la tierra, pero tambi\u00e9n de la comprensi\u00f3n de los mecanismos que impulsan la defensa mundial. Foto: Zahara Abdul<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>Para construir un movimiento, hay que invertir en asociaciones desde la base<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>S4HL ha experimentado un impulso arrollador en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os. Es un movimiento mayor que cualquier proyecto o pa\u00eds. Sin embargo, a\u00fan queda mucho por hacer para que los derechos de las mujeres sobre la tierra sean una realidad en todo el mundo. Quedan cinco a\u00f1os para que se cumplan los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible, que incluyen el acceso igualitario de las mujeres a la propiedad y el control de la tierra.<\/p>\n<p>El mismo impulso es evidente en todos los sectores del desarrollo mundial. No debemos dejar que este impulso desaparezca en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>En este momento, como comunidad mundial del desarrollo, tenemos la oportunidad de garantizar que nuestra acci\u00f3n tenga realmente un impacto positivo y duradero.
