{"id":431,"date":"2020-09-24T20:36:15","date_gmt":"2020-09-24T20:36:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stand4herland.org\/?p=431"},"modified":"2020-10-01T17:59:37","modified_gmt":"2020-10-01T17:59:37","slug":"a-letter-from-the-campaign-secretariat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stand4herland.org\/es\/a-letter-from-the-campaign-secretariat\/","title":{"rendered":"Acciones: Carta de la Secretar\u00eda de la Campa\u00f1a"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Con tantos retos a los que se enfrenta la humanidad -desde la pandemia del COVID-19 y la crisis clim\u00e1tica hasta las amenazas a las democracias globales y las libertades civiles y las crecientes desigualdades en todo el mundo- es f\u00e1cil imaginar que el impulso para hacer avanzar los derechos seguros de las mujeres a la vivienda, la tierra y la propiedad, podr\u00eda ralentizarse hasta llegar a un punto muerto.<\/p>\n<p>Esto ser\u00eda un error. Aunque no resulte obvio a primera vista, los derechos seguros y equitativos de las mujeres a la tierra son fundamentales para construir sociedades m\u00e1s resilientes y preparadas para los desastres. Esto se debe a que unos derechos seguros a\u00edslan mejor a las mujeres y a sus familias de los impactos de g\u00e9nero, a menudo devastadores, que se desencadenan cuando se producen cat\u00e1strofes naturales, crisis sanitarias mundiales y conflictos. Sin unos derechos sobre la tierra seguros y equitativos, las mujeres corren un mayor riesgo de sufrir violencia de g\u00e9nero, de perder la tierra en la que cultivan y cr\u00edan a sus hijos, de perder sus medios de subsistencia y de perder su dignidad humana.<\/p>\n<p>Para decirlo con m\u00e1s precisi\u00f3n, abordar los derechos seguros de las mujeres a la tierra es un ingrediente esencial de las estrategias integrales de respuesta y recuperaci\u00f3n en muchos pa\u00edses del mundo.  Tambi\u00e9n son vitales para maximizar el progreso duradero en varios objetivos tem\u00e1ticos de los planes de acci\u00f3n quinquenales de Beijing +25 para avanzar en la igualdad de g\u00e9nero mundial que se est\u00e1n desarrollando actualmente.<\/p>\n<p>En resumen, la misi\u00f3n de Stand For Her Land de promover derechos seguros a la tierra para las mujeres era importante antes de COVID-19, es importante en el contexto de la pandemia y seguir\u00e1 siendo importante una vez que esta crisis haya pasado.  La pandemia ha arrojado una dura luz sobre las profundas y debilitantes grietas -incluidas las desigualdades de g\u00e9nero, las injusticias y la discriminaci\u00f3n que conducen a la debilidad de los derechos a la tierra para las mujeres- en los cimientos sobre los que se asientan nuestras sociedades. Esta exposici\u00f3n brinda a la sociedad civil la oportunidad de reclamar acciones concretas para reparar las fisuras que impiden a las mujeres ejercer con seguridad sus derechos a la vivienda, la tierra y la propiedad.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfQu\u00e9 hemos estado haciendo?<\/p>\n<p>Con el fin de profundizar nuestro impacto, hemos estado invirtiendo tiempo y energ\u00eda en ampliar y fortalecer la red mundial de Stand For Her Land.  Nos sentimos honrados y muy emocionados de dar la bienvenida a dos destacadas organizaciones al comit\u00e9 directivo mundial de S4HL y a la comunidad de Stand For Her Land: la organizaci\u00f3n <a href=\"http:\/\/www.landcoalition.org\">Coalici\u00f3n Internacional para el Acceso a la Tierra<\/a> y el <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rightsandresources.org\">Iniciativa de Derechos y Recursos<\/a>. Cada uno de ellos aporta una rica y variada experiencia y perspectiva con sus diversas redes de la sociedad civil, defensores de base y de los derechos y organizaciones que ayudar\u00e1n a impulsar la misi\u00f3n de S4HL y potenciar la campa\u00f1a para hacer frente a los desaf\u00edos globales a los que se enfrenta el mundo.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stand4herland.org\/country-coalition-tanzania\/\">En defensa de su tierra Tanzania<\/a> sigue coordinando los esfuerzos para cerrar la brecha entre la ley y la pr\u00e1ctica en el pa\u00eds. Entre otras actividades, se ocupan de planificar la primera conferencia nacional del pa\u00eds sobre los derechos de las mujeres a la tierra, que se celebrar\u00e1 en marzo de 2021, coincidiendo con el D\u00eda Internacional de la Mujer. Su visi\u00f3n es apoyar caravanas de mujeres de base de todo el pa\u00eds que viajen a la capital para dialogar con los l\u00edderes del gobierno sobre los retos y las soluciones para convertir las leyes que protegen sus derechos sobre la tierra en acciones sobre el terreno. Este mes tambi\u00e9n hemos lanzado una <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globalgiving.org\/projects\/stand-up-for-womens-land-rights-in-tanzania\/\">Campa\u00f1a Global Giving<\/a>para ayudar a S4HL Tanzania a capacitar a las mujeres para que ejerzan con \u00e9xito sus derechos sobre la tierra en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>Una de las principales acciones de nuestra lista de prioridades es la creaci\u00f3n de campa\u00f1as \"Defiende su tierra\" impulsadas por la sociedad civil m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de Tanzania. Estamos explorando alianzas con la sociedad civil para poner en marcha campa\u00f1as en varios pa\u00edses, como Colombia, India, Nigeria y Senegal, y estamos trabajando para impulsar campa\u00f1as emergentes en Kenia y Uganda.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, bas\u00e1ndonos en la creciente red y base de miembros de Stand For Her Land, estamos desarrollando estrategias y planes de acci\u00f3n propios para promover la integraci\u00f3n de los derechos a una vivienda segura, a la tierra y a la propiedad para las mujeres en los planes de respuesta y recuperaci\u00f3n de COVID-19, y en los esfuerzos de Pek\u00edn +25 para acelerar el progreso de la igualdad de g\u00e9nero en los pr\u00f3ximos cinco a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>Todav\u00eda nos queda mucho trabajo por hacer para ampliar la huella de Stand For Her Land y para alzar nuestra voz colectiva lo suficientemente alto como para derribar las barreras que se interponen entre millones de mujeres y sus derechos sobre la tierra en todo el mundo.
