Elles sont touch\u00e9es de mani\u00e8re disproportionn\u00e9e par la pauvret\u00e9, la faim et les d\u00e9placements, et sont expos\u00e9es \u00e0 la violence sexiste, qui peut s'aggraver dans un contexte de ressources naturelles de plus en plus rares et de conflits. L'agriculture, l'\u00e9levage, l'urbanisation, la d\u00e9forestation et les conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques extr\u00eames ont acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9 le rythme de la d\u00e9gradation des terres, augmentant ainsi la pression sur les femmes et les filles.<\/p>\n<p>Alors que la population mondiale continue d'augmenter et que les pressions sur le syst\u00e8me alimentaire mondial s'intensifient, il est urgent de trouver des solutions \u00e0 cette crise. Si nous voulons nourrir la population mondiale projet\u00e9e de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/en\/desa\/world-population-projected-reach-98-billion-2050-and-112-billion-2100\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">9,7 milliards d'euros d'ici 2050<\/a>Les droits fonciers des femmes et la neutralit\u00e9 en mati\u00e8re de d\u00e9gradation des sols doivent faire partie du d\u00e9bat.<\/p>\n<p>En plus d'\u00eatre les plus touch\u00e9es par la d\u00e9gradation des terres, les femmes sont aussi parmi les mieux \u00e9quip\u00e9es pour y r\u00e9pondre et sont souvent plus dispos\u00e9es \u00e0 adopter de nouvelles pratiques pour prot\u00e9ger et restaurer les terres. Pourtant, dans de nombreux endroits, elles n'ont pas acc\u00e8s aux droits fonciers et aux postes de direction qui leur permettraient de le faire. Lorsque les femmes ont des droits fonciers garantis, elles sont en mesure d'investir dans des pratiques de gestion durable des terres qui restaurent les terres d\u00e9grad\u00e9es et pr\u00e9viennent les dommages futurs.<\/p>\n<p>Lors de la conf\u00e9rence de l'UNCCD de cette ann\u00e9e, S4HL enverra 10 d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s de coalitions du monde entier pour souligner le lien entre les droits fonciers des femmes et la neutralit\u00e9 de la d\u00e9gradation des terres. Il est essentiel de donner la priorit\u00e9 aux d\u00e9fenseurs de la base dans ces conversations parce qu'ils sont les plus touch\u00e9s par la d\u00e9gradation des terres et qu'ils ont une compr\u00e9hension intime de son impact sur le terrain. L'implication des femmes de la base dans les \u00e9v\u00e9nements de la COP renforce leur engagement \u00e0 tous les niveaux des processus de prise de d\u00e9cision et de mise en \u0153uvre de la CNULCD, am\u00e9liorant ainsi leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 travailler avec les d\u00e9cideurs pour d\u00e9velopper une mise en \u0153uvre des r\u00e9gimes fonciers meilleure et plus \u00e9quitable pour les femmes.<\/p>\n<p>La garantie des droits fonciers est essentielle pour faire face \u00e0 la crise actuelle de la d\u00e9gradation des terres et de la d\u00e9sertification.
