En \u00c9thiopie, les femmes repr\u00e9sentent la moiti\u00e9 de la population et d\u00e9pendent de la terre pour leur subsistance, leur logement et leurs moyens de subsistance. Pourtant, la plupart d'entre elles n'ont pas de droits garantis sur les terres dont elles d\u00e9pendent.<\/p>\n

Les Stand for Her Land (S4HL) coalition nationale en \u00c9thiopie<\/a> a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e pour combler le foss\u00e9 entre la loi et la pratique et garantir que toutes les femmes puissent b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier de droits fonciers s\u00fbrs dans leur vie quotidienne. Au d\u00e9but du mois, S4HL \u00c9thiopie a franchi une \u00e9tape importante dans la r\u00e9alisation de cet objectif directeur, puisque Habitat for Humanity \u00c9thiopie, chef de file de la coalition nationale, a sign\u00e9 un accord avec l'Agence allemande pour la coop\u00e9ration internationale (GIZ) et la Women's Land Rights Task Force du gouvernement \u00e9thiopien pour coop\u00e9rer au renforcement des droits fonciers et des droits de propri\u00e9t\u00e9 des femmes en \u00c9thiopie.<\/p>\n

Le protocole d'accord couvre les domaines de coop\u00e9ration concernant les femmes dans les investissements agricoles \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle, les communaut\u00e9s de petits exploitants agricoles et les zones urbaines et p\u00e9riurbaines, dans le cadre d'une vision commune visant \u00e0 ce que les femmes \u00e9thiopiennes exercent pleinement leurs droits \u00e0 la terre, au logement et \u00e0 la propri\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Les signataires ont convenu de s'entraider et de collaborer \u00e0 la sensibilisation et au renforcement des capacit\u00e9s des femmes, des communaut\u00e9s, des OSC et des mouvements de base \u00e0 d\u00e9fendre les droits fonciers des femmes ; d'engager les d\u00e9cideurs politiques et les autorit\u00e9s gouvernementales \u00e0 faire pression pour que les droits fonciers des femmes soient prioritaires dans la l\u00e9gislation et les politiques ; et de favoriser le partenariat, l'apprentissage et l'action collective en faveur des droits fonciers des femmes parmi les gouvernements, les donateurs, les OSC et d'autres parties prenantes cl\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Ce protocole d'accord rend possible la coordination aux niveaux local et national n\u00e9cessaire pour aider S4HL \u00c9thiopie \u00e0 atteindre ses objectifs ambitieux. En alignant les agendas de plaidoyer et les ressources, la campagne est en mesure de concentrer les efforts des parties prenantes pour renforcer les droits fonciers des femmes \u00e9thiopiennes et construire un meilleur avenir pour tous.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
