S4HL Global Strategy 2026-2030 [ EN | ES | FR ]

The Stand for Her Land (S4HL) 2026–2030 Global Strategy sets out a bold, movement-driven approach to closing the persistent gap between legal recognition and the real-world implementation of women’s land rights. Grounded in a feminist, gender-transformative framework, the strategy recognizes that securing land rights for women is essential to achieving gender equality, climate resilience, food security, and sustainable development.

Building on progress from the previous 2022-2025 strategy, S4HL aims to scale a global coalition model that centers grassroots women’s leadership and collective advocacy. By 2030, the initiative seeks to support 100 million women in gaining stronger land rights through coordinated action across local, national, and global levels.

The strategy focuses on four key areas: engaging stakeholders through training and capacity building, elevating public awareness, enabling locally-led solutions to shift social norms, and enacting policy and institutional reforms. Together, these efforts aim to transform systems, power dynamics, and behaviors that prevent women from realizing their rights.

At a time of growing inequality, climate pressure, and backlash against gender equality, S4HL is positioned as a critical platform to sustain momentum, expand partnerships, and drive large-scale, lasting change for women and communities worldwide.
